I remember the first time I had lagsane. First at Gabrielle Ong's birthday party, which doesn't really count, because it didn't get me all excited about it. The first real time was when I went to Melbourne, Otway, and my dad ordered lagsane there. Me and my brothers were picking at it, snatching from my dad, and I fell in love with it.
Which reminds me, I miss Melbourne. I miss the people, the food, the atmosphere, the freedom. It sure beats Singapore, where you never know what people will do to you, where people can turn their backs on you in a blink of an eye.
We're looking for a house in Melbourne now, my parents wanna put me in Boxhill High School, but I'm not too keen, because I'd rather go to Doncaster East. Where Shoppingtown is. We'll be renting when we get to Melbourne, and I hope we get a fab house.
I can't really say who I'll miss. Probably I will know when I get there, on hindsight. I think the people I will miss the most are those people who aren't that close to me, but have been the most amazing friends I could have, with no intentions. People like Jade Wee, Shannen, Delise Yang. And others.
Ooh, yes, I got my clutch (: I'm too lazy to upload the picture of it, but it's way pretty <3
Timeless was great, Shannen got saved (: The 3 testimonies were really touching, yeah. And Shannen has cool England shoes! <3
I know I've put this off for a really long time, but I will be moving soon, as soon as I find the time. But don't expect me to let you know the link, because the whole reason I'm moving is because I wanna blog somewhere where I don't feel judged because of what I blog, somewhere where I can blog freely without attracting controversy. Yeah, and just in case you don't know, I can't wait to leave for Melbourne. I hate it here. I don't see how people can call themselves friends when they leave their 'friend' out of everything, make plans without that person, make that person feel so freaking guilty about nothing. Oh, yes, that's how you make me feel. GUILTY. For nothing. You make me feel guilty about your emoness, when I feel like slapping you because of that self-pitying look on your face. Actually it's more than one but, whatever.
Delise Yang, Vera Wong, it was great seeing you yesterday! (: I didn't know how much I missed you guys until I saw you :P In any case, Dee, it was great catching up, we'll talk again soon (:

God is moving, God is moving
Can you hear the sound of revival?
Oh, well, today, I saw revival.
Maybe my standards are low, or whatever, because I have never seen so many people saved in a place, and it wasn't even in a church. It was in a school, in a girls school, MGS.
Today was the last day of Discover Jesus Week in MG, and Pastor Jeremy Stewart was preaching about the cross, and he's a seriously good speaker. And when he spoke about what Jesus went through, there were loads of people crying, and I believe that God was touching each and every girl there (: And finally when he asked if anyone wanted to receive Christ into their lives, he told them to raise up their hands. My first instinct was that, no, they're gonna be too shy to raise up their hands. Yet God went beyond my expectations. I was peeking when he said three, and something happened, because MORE THAN 100 people raised up their hands, I'm pretty sure. People were crying, and God was just doing such a great work in the hall. And Mrs Yap said that they weren't expecting so many people, and it was much more than they expected, they couldn't fit all the people who accepted into the hall (:
I've never seen anything so encouraging, because this just goes to show, that God keeps his promises. At the beginning of 2007, He promised a revival, and it goes to show that as long as you believe in His promises, He will grant you more than you've expected.
And I believe that there's more to come (:
Remember this:
'But the thing that struct me most was during FUEL. Sister Kassey asked us to share one thing that impacted us most about the service, and I said that it was the sermon. That you really need perseverance even when it's hard and just have faith that God will deliver what He has promised you. And then Sis Kassey said this, to me, "I believe that you're going to bring revival to MGS. Really, and I'm praying and believing with you that you will bring MGS revival."'
My post on January 21, 2007.
Oh yeah (: We got the revival, but there's more to come (: Even the Sec 4s accepted, and it's so touching, how God can just touch a whole school like that.
My best DJW ever, and you'll never know the sweet feeling, that euphoria of seeing those people making decisions, it's like elation beyond elation. Because you know that this day, half your school will be going to heaven (:
Thank God for Discover Jesus Week 2007, thank God for Pastor Jeremy, thank God for the band, thank God for the work He's done.
Thank God for the revival, in MG, that we have been praying so long and so hard for.
And all glory to God (:
[If any MGS alumnae or teacher reads this, I APPEAL FOR MORE STUFF LIKE THIS! We should have DJW like, 4 times a year or something! That, would be so cool, and then imagine if the whole school accepts Christ, and then chapel would be like church. Cool beyond coool (:]
