And the new twentyohseven, 2007, is coming. New season, new challenges, new people.
This year has been... eventful. It was full of joy, tears, anger, laughter, stress, expectations, failures, successes, apprehension. I've met new people, some who hurt me and some whom I really thank God for. There were new challenges, like new subjects, new teachers. The EOYEs! Stress. Over this year, I've experienced, I've grown, I've cried, I've loved, I've hated, I've laughed, I've learnt, I've overcome.
And I know, that this year couldn't have been done without God. It would have been a total waste, without His hand in this year. I would have gotten by, but you know, getting by isn't enough. Because I've come to realise that God wants more for me to just get by. That's not the best, His best for me. In this year, I've never experienced His love in a more tangible way. School, X-Ctry, IGNYTE, and even in my circle of friends. I've learnt that His love isn't judged by how faithful you are, what you've done, said, or thought. Because His love is redeeming. Everlasting.
Unstoppable.
I thank God for this year. For His love, for the people He's placed in my life, for experiences and situations, for the encounters, for the tears, for the purpose. Life's never a bed of roses, but you don't need that bed of roses, cause roses are thorny. All you need is God, Jesus.
Twentyohseven, will be a year. Of what, I don't know. I'm apprehensive, I'm scared. But twentyohseven is in God's hands. There will be new challenges, new storms. New people. And there will be that letting go.
Letting go of people, encounters. Letting go to let God take charge and place new people, and encounters in my life. Sometimes letting go is hard. And I know it'll take courage, and faith to just let go. Of all the people I miss, I know, and I love.
Leaping into the unknown twentyohseven. I'm faced with many fears, of what I faced in twentyohsix, apprehension. Lies from the Devil, even. This coming year is so unknown, that I don't know what to expect. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through it, I'm not sure if it will be easy or hard. I'm not sure of the storms and struggles, the hurts and pains, the failures and disappointments that will come my way.
But one thing I'm sure of, is that my daddy will be there with me all of the way. Holding my hand, leaping with faith with me.
People change, things fade, nothing lasts forever. But my daddy, He will be holding my hand, always. Because twentyohseven's in His hands. Whatever may come, He will be with me. Because of twentyohsix, I can move on to twentyohseven. With faith, believing that I will never be alone in this new year. I'll miss people, but I will learn to move on.
And I'll never be alone because He will never leave me, nor forsake me.
Even blessings, I'll have to let go. Because I know He's going to bless me with more this twentyohseven.
And together, this twentyohseven, my dad and I will leap into the unknown new year, hand in hand, never letting go. It will be eventful, but I will never be alone, and I know His love will always be there for me. That everlasting, unstoppable, redeeming, steadfast, beautiful love.

Joy in the midst of sorrow, courage in the midst of fear, strength in the midst of adversity.
That's what Christmas is all about, Jesus. The joy, the courage and the strength.
This Christmas was bittersweet. The only sweet parts were the really nice presents and the fact that I know Christmas is all about Jesus. Bitter part? Family. I have no idea why he has to always create friction between everyone, just because of his mother. But. Whatever.
Maybe like Gabriel Fang said, I do put on a smile but inside I'm troubled but actually not really. Because Jesus is like my escape.
Today, I went for 11am service. I met Reuben & his brother at the Esso busstop. Haha. And we were petrified of the bus 157 cause you-know-who was in there. HAHAHA. It was freezing. Cause Eugene, Mo, Chet, me, Abby and Benn were sitting on 4M at the front row so it was super cold and at the end, my whole body was shivering really bad and my teeth were chattering.
Macs, was. Scandalous! Delise and Esther are like, scandal collectors. They know almost everything! Haha, my toe was super pain and I took off my shoes to walk barefoot. Ouch.

Oh right. You're living for His name. I SEE. You're saying vulgarities three-quarters of the time you're awake, you're being racist to the people in your class...

I tell you all this stuff about you living for His name is BULLCRAP if you do that. Stop it, ok. And you say that once you say the sinner's prayer you'll go to heaven definitely? MY FOOT. If you're living that kind of life, I don't even know where you'll go.
And I know I'm not perfect. I know I'm not the model Christian or whatever, but at least I'm not HYPOCRITICAL. I don't post one blogpost with vulgarities all the way and racist remarks and go in the next post, "Jesus we're living for your name!"

It's frustrating, I actually found two from Forever 21 that I really liked, and they didn't have S/ XS size. And Jo looked really nice in the one that Benn found, but they didn't have size S so it'd drop cause it was a tube. :/
Anyway. Jo you'll find yours today! No worries (: I need to buy shoes.
Dinner was funny though. I had the beef thing, and then just as I was finishing it off, stupod Jared Koh had to put in the super hot chilli in my food. It was super hot, my face turned red and for some reason I started laughing like crazy. And in the end all of us started laughing. Then Jared had to give me his spoon because mine was coated with chilli powder. He dipped it in soup first. LOL. Then he watched us drink our soup and for some reason again, we all started laughing. HAHA.
It's raining. A week ago, we were all getting ready for camp. We were all packed, excited and a week ago today, in two hours we would be in church. A week ago, we left for camp. I still miss camp! :( Oh well. It was great.

Camp was great. It was seriously great. It was fun, and it was life-changing. I think that this camp, Emerge 2006, I really encountered God in a way that I'll never forget. I had a great group, and I think I can't even finish all our hilarious moments even if I wanted to.
On the first night, P. Darick spoke about emerging from our Egypts, things that are holding us back from responding to God's will for our lives and it was really powerful. When we went back to our room, 3114, Pearl started boiling water for us and made us all drink. I had to convince her that I would drink the water before I made her sleep. Haha, and I only drank one mouthful. The temperature of our room was 16 degrees, so it was freezing, and what's more the fan was on high. In the morning the next day, the boiled water turned ice cold. LOL.
The next day, Pearl ate super alot. Service, was really good. About building God's house, by P. Gary and it just reminded me about God's burden on me for MG in the past year. That I've been slipping away from this burden, and that I need to reclaim this promise that God's gonna use me in MG before I can do something for Him. At the altars I cried alot. Because God told me that He's going to use me in MG,but I need that incredible staying power to withstand all the rejections, failures, and He will be my strength.
When I came to camp, my expectations were to encounter God and to recharge, and from that service, I felt that God had already fulfilled my expectations.
Games, second day. Supercow was funny! Like, MOOOOO, MOOOOO. Ann and I were laughing like crazy during the group cheer because Pearl came up with this one from some HSM song, and it was hilarious. It was whatever thing luh, and we were laughing like crazy. Ann was pulling my shorts to control her laughter. POOR Reuben! He had to like take all of our chewed gum and mould it into a guitar. We made a two string guitar, and it was funny. The tennis court one was disgusting, we lost and Ann & Charles had to eat bananas through pantyhose stockings, and they were all squashed and yucky. :/ And water bombs!! I slipped and wasted 2! >:( My butt hurt after that LOL. And also, the DING DING thing! Oh man it was hilarious. Eugene Teo was laughing like crazy luh, and then Charles took his bottle and pen and hit them together to make the DING sound and Teo laughed all over again. Haha, Princess it's okay! I don't mind, really. LOL.
Had the blindfold game after dinner. It was really freaky actually, because you can't see anything and everything's so serious. David was in front of me, and I had to raise my hands so high to put my hands on his shoulders because he was so tall. I hated the torture chamber, it was super hard. Like, I really couldn't take it. Pumps, and then sit-ups, then pumps again. GAHH.
I was super tired, and I was falling asleep during Bro Andy's debrief.
Next day, service was the best. P. Darick preached about being set apart, for Gilgal, to be consecrated and circumcised spiritually and to go from consecration to commitment to conquest. It was really meaningful for me, and I could really feel the presence of God there. At the altars they annointed people with oil, and people were just falling under the presence of God. When I went up, Sister Kassey prayed for me, and I started crying uncontrollably. Because I felt God's love so strong, because I knew who I was in Him finally and because I knew what He thought of me, which was really encouraging. Before she even finished praying, I fell. And I realised that it's something you can't really control, because if not you're fighting the presence of God. I loved the service. Really, really loved the service.
Ciesta or whatever thingy was good. I fell asleep, and I woke up 10 minutes before we were supposed to go to the Ballroom. When Simone, Pearl and I got there, we had to do pumps, again. Tsk.
The games, the evangelism one, was fun too. We had to eat disgusting fermented beancurd. It was sick. And for Ashley, we had to do the movie thing, act out three movies. Saving Private Ryan, Titanic and Spiderman. For Titanic, we were planning out the whole scene and Pearl kept rambling on about how someone should be a boat. A BOAT! LOL. Then finally we decided that David and Eugene would be Jack and Rose respectively, the two gays, and it was hilarious. Because Eugene AKA Rose, jumped off and it was just hilarious. Spiderman was funnier! We psychoed Reuben and Pearl to be Spiderman and Mary-Jane respectively, although Reuben didn't want to, but he had to rescue Pearl. So Pearl was so happy but he was like, AHHHH. Charles was the Green Goblin. HEE.
We had cup noodles for supper last night! (:
Camp was great, and there was alot more. Especially on the bus ride back! But Reuben will kill me if I disclose that. Honestly, it was hilarious. Absolutely hilarious, laugh until stomach pain. HAHAHA. But that stays on the bus! :D
My group consisted of Charles, Eugene, David, Reuben, Christophe (LOL), Ann, Simone, Pearl and me! Charles was the hilarious cat leader, and Ann was the quiet AL. But it was fun guessing with her who Pearl liked hahaha. Reuben, AKA Spiderman, is scandalous! With Pearl hee hee. Pearl is a nice girl, she's motherly even though she may be irritating at times. Simone's really really quiet, but she can be fun haha.

It's December. By this time next year I'll probably in Melbourne, Australia, Doncaster decorating my Christmas tree in preparation for a really lonely Christmas. But maybe I was destined for loneliness. Nobody likes to admit that. But maybe, I am. Whatever. The new year, 2007. I'm kinda dreading it, having to study again, having to live up to expectations and having to face people being disappointed with me. Oh right, I forgot, loads of people are already. This year, time flew past. It just darted. And BOOM! In the blink of an eye, it's going. This year, was a crap year. Honestly. I don't know why, people just made me feel like the asshole I was this year, especially. Yes, I am an asshole. And I'm sorry for being an asshole. This year, my slate is blank. Because this year, I did nothing to be proud of. Except my results, which aren't even good enough for her. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I can't be perfect.
It isn't supposed to be this way, but sometimes the people that are supposed to lift you up, your friends and everything, they just make me feel really disappointed in myself. It's as if they're in their own world, and when I intrude on something in their world, I'm an asshole. I'm a bitch. I'm a stupid person who's being a bad friend.

If there were three things you could change about the world, what would they be?
Me? I'd convert them to Christianity, and make both poverty and terrorism history. Terrorism meaning war also.
I hate poverty. I think it's stupid. As in like, if the presidents wanna make poverty history, then why don't they just give the people on the streets a home and give them some job? That's why I hate walking at Robinson's and Holland Village. I can't see the old ladies there without asking why.
And I hate Osama. He's a loser. LOSER. LOSER. What's the point of taking so many lives? What good does he get from it? RAWR.

FUEL, was hilarious. It's the last FUEL for the year! Then everybody's going to PL and we're gonna be split up. >:( The skit thing was funny. And we were supposed to name one quality of God's love on the red paper puzzle, and Odelia wrote, "UNSTOPPABLE!" And when she said it, it was really funny. Then the question : What does life to the fullest mean to you?
Odelia's answer: "FUN LA! Okay wait, let me elaborate. What's the point of being sad and not having fun? I mean, do what you wanna do! Be happy! Don't be sad!"
She's definitely the most inspired and inspirational one in our buzz group. Hahaha.
Then later, Benn started sitting like a man.

At Macs, quite alot of stuff happened. I got Jackfruit his bananas!!! Woohoo. But in the end it was given out. And he only had what, 2 left? Sorry, Jackfruit - teapot! Then Eugene and Ted and Gid started taking my camera, then I found it in my bag. Then just as I was about to put the camera back into the case, they took the case! It was with GID. Hahaha. Keith Yong and Ted are eccentric! They like people to be more pro than them for guit. Haha.
Oh yes, Eugene Teo. I'll never let you see my phone man! And maybe I do message Keith or Moses! And so what if I message Chet? OR MAYBE. I'm a loser who messages no one! Hahahaha. Or maybe I message girls! Ah. See?

Eugene Teo, however, was scandalous. Princess, you cannot two time! Hahaha. He was giving ____ the treatment, then I was rubbing my eyes. Mo was like, "AW XUE'S CRYING!" Then Chet went, "It's okay! I'll give her the treatment too!" Hahaha. Chet and Keith were demonstrating how to get onto a girl and kiss her into three steps and honestly, it was hilarious.
That pretty much sums my day, except that I FREAKING CAN'T STAND HER.
It's the holiday, for goodness sake. She wants to lock the SCV so that we will do our work. WORK! WORK! What the heck. She gave me hell this morning when I woke up at 9.30 am. It's not like we didn't do well for our exams. It's not like my test marks pulled down my EOYE marks alot. It's like she's running a concentration camp. Somehow it's hard to believe that her blood runs through my veins. :/ But, it could happen, right? HAHAHA. I didn't inherit her eyes or whatever facial features whatsoever? WHOOHOO.
But wait. I inherited the stupid natural curls from her. GAHH.
I'm in a concentration camp. Why do you think I love going out and sleeping so much?
