Today's History lesson with Mr. Seow, where he wanted us to come up in our groups and teach our classmates. He was currently asking Jade's group whether they were ready.
MR. SEOW (To Rachelle, who sits in front of Jade): Okay! Tell me, what is Chapter 6.5 about?
ALISSA (Who sits next to Jade): (shouting) Responses to internal threats! Responses to internal threats!
MR SEOW (Turning to Alissa): What?
(Jade is currently playing with her and Gillian's hairbands)
ALISSA: Responses to internal threats such as the Black Death and corrupt government!
MR SEOW (Seeing Jade and her playing with hairbands): Eh. Keep your rubbish eh!
JADE: I want to keep but you keep on talking I cannot keep!
MR SEOW: What I keep talking?
JADE: You keep talking la!
(Mr Seow walks away laughing.)
(Mr Seow comes back. Jade's diary on her table is open, and there are words in it. He goes over to the table and looks at Jade's.)
JADE: Don't read my diary!
MR SEOW: Who wants to read your diary???
(Jade's group goes up to present and Mrs Serena Chan pops in. She comes in and sits down next to Mr Seow, watching the group present.)
MRS CHAN: Interesting or not?
MR SEOW: No.

I can't wait for the sleepover at Abby's house. Haha it's gonna be a blast! We're gonna have Movie Marathon. WHOO. I'm ponning training the next day.
Tomorrow's Teacher's Day, and we get to dress up in a 70s' theme for 1E! It's gonna be so fun! I'm wearing a fat hairband and hoops. Jewel's coming back so later we'll be going to KAP for lunch with Shanice and Shannen. The whole happy gang. (: Haha.
And I love my fat hairband. The black and white stripes one.
I didn't even fail my Chem! I got 21.5/29. Miss Sim even put a "GOOD" there. HAHA! How surprising.
Sad. We have Acer's Day tomorrow. Then we have half and hour to change into our clothes.

Miss Yang really pisses me off. She wants to take every period of ours. Free period, recess. SO IRRITATING.
I passed my MEP test, by half a mark. GAHH. I mugged so hard for that freaking test and I only passed by half a mark, which is a C6. The highest in the class is 35/40, and I only got 20.5/40. And the unfair thing is, it was a Sec 2 standard test. I think Mrs Arlene Chan has mistaken us for Sec 2s. Hello. We're Sec 1. So dumb. Jade and my duet piece was a disaster. We couldn't go on because of some crap rhythm. WHO CARES ABOUT RHYTHM?
I only care about rhythm when I'm playing the guit, because it's the only instrument that's worth it. HAHAHA. I can play From The Inside Out on the guit! There's only 5 chords, and the hardest chord for this song is F, which isn't very hard. YAY.
Oh no. Chem after recess. I'm going to fail.

Ah ma's back! I'm really happy that she's better now. YAY.
Class chapel went better than I expected, I didn't hear the class singing but that didn't really matter. I think I was so engrossed in playing my guit, playing for God and for no one else and nothing else really mattered. That's what it's like, when you're just so passionate in doing something just SOLELY for God, and nothing else really matters. I enjoyed myself more in class chapel, I didn't have to care whether I would be greatly embarrassed by playing the wrong chords or anything. I just wanted to play and do this for God, and even if it all went wrong, at least one thing I'd be proud of was saying that I did it for God and I didn't care if the music sucked or not.
The music didn't suck, it rocked. Considering our recess practices, which only took place 2/3 times, we did really well. Though Caris sang really softly, it was still good because Benn and I somehow played the same part of the song when we didn't know what to play. Great minds think alike! LOL.
Now all I really wanna do is worship. For some reason, it's all I wanna do. In school, at home, anywhere. Just not a busker in Orchard. And it's through serving God where you really find that joy. Like me in CH. It may not be my greatest passion but I've found that joy in serving. Honestly, I really wanna join the worship min. But I can't play anything and my piano sucks. LOL. How sad.

Yesterday was the Baptism day. Service was good, Bro Andy preached on overcoming the giants in our lives. After that we went for FUEL, everyone came up to me and said that "I GOT BRACES!" Yeah, I know. Then later we wrote on the boards and went for the Baptism. Went to Macs after that and it was boring. Really really boring. Benn kept talking about cross to Ariel, Merrilyn and Davelle. Jo and Dee left early, Abby, Vera, Gab Fang and Julian were telling dirty jokes, and I had no one to talk to. Eugene and Chet left the moment they came, GAHH. Boring.
Honestly, if you want my opinion, this whole CROSS TALK OUTSIDE OF CROSS is getting on my nerves. Went home later, and to my surprise no one was at home. It was weird. I guess.
Crap luh. My guit's still in school. And there's class chapel tomorrow.
FYI, I'M SICK OF CROSS.

Guitar was really really boring without Ah ma. There's no jokes, no laughter and dumb Mr Choo's all pissy and having what I call a guy hissy-fit. My finger has a cut already. From playing all his notes. And you know what? He doesn't even appreciate it. Whenever I practise like crazy for one piece, he just puts it down. What's wrong with him?
Joakim is torture to listen to. He's sounds like he's pressing his nose together to sing like Donald Duck, singing, " And then I saw her face! I'm a believer!" Ugh, sorry but I'm not a believer. Of his singing ability I mean. He isn't even cute la. Joakim's cousin is so mush cuter than him. Like, he has the more 'angmoh' look. HAHAHA! And Jasmine Tye. What a LIAN. LOL. The other time she wore this really funny looking skirt and you know what my dad said? "HAIYOH. What's with her skirt? So ah-lian." And my dad is not a gay, so... it means that she's LIAN. HAHA.
I'm going to fail my MEP and Chem test. MEP was REALLY REALLY BAD. And for Chem, we weren't told that we had to study the first 20 elements of the periodic table. So I didn't know most of the questions on the first 20 elements.
Gahh. I have to say goodbye to my iPod nano already. I'm not going to do well. So, goodbye my dear iPod nano. We just weren't fated to be. (HAHAHA I'm so dramatic!)
My teeth hurt from braces and I look like a freak. I chose white, and I can't bite, when I try to swallow the food I choke like some mad girl. OUCH.
Oh yeah. I forgot to say. My brother is a certified moron.

It's funny, you know. The fact that I can tell Joel Houston's voice from Marty Sampson's voice, and Brooke Fraser's voice from Mia Fieldes voice in the Hillsong United We Stand album, but I can't tell a sitar from a veena. HAHAHA.
On Friday, I was really excited for church, Macs and everything. Then I wondered, what would happen after that? I'll have to wait a whole week just for it to come again. And when we grow up, Macs will just be something that was fun and a weekly thing. And then the ever-famous lyrics came into my head, "Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades. Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame." I just realised, that these lyrics mean alot. Though things may past, God's light will always shine, everlasting. Hollywood's gonna fade away, but God's glory will go beyond that. I know this is so random, but I love my God.
HAHA I just realised that I've said "this is so random" in almost every post. ALMOST. LOL. Well, it IS random, haha. And I've also realised that I put loads of lyrics in my posts. I'm such a musical person man. Which is scary. Because I HATE MEP.

You're 19!! HAHA, continue to grow in the Lord and thanks for being a blessing to me, ever since I've known you. I LOVE YOU BABES! ;D
Cross yesterday was okay. I ran the usual 8km, came back huffing and puffing. LOL like the wolf in the 3 little pigs! HAHAHA okay very random. LOL. I decided that I should remember to bring an extra shirt, if not I'll freeze to death in tuition.
For once I didn't wear heels when I served! Pretty slow actually, you don't have to wear heels to serve. Service was really good, but still somehow I now don't feel like I'm missing out. Because you're serving God, and there's no need to feel that way. Pastor Gerald's point about having little faith because we don't face persecution was really true. MG's a methodist school, so we don't exactly have people come tell us that church is wrong or whatever. Anyway, God has definitely been doing something in IGNYTE. (: Before the past two weeks, there were no FTVs. Honestly, for CH it's really demoralising. But, the past two weeks, there've been FTVs, and not just one, but at least 3! Haha. I've been praying for IGNYTE, and God hears your prayers. I think after Transformed, the whole service has been changed. For the better.
Macs was really hilarious. We were eating, and Eugene was saying that we didn't know how to pronounce his chinese name (which is pretty much an chinese translation of his english name lol) and I accidentally said Jo's chinese name, and she started screaming and throwing serviettes and fries at me. And so I caught the serviette and I was going to throw it back at her when she hid behind Ariel and i threw it at Ariel's head. Later Ariel saw this guy, whose name i should not disclose, and Jo and her were talking about who was who (he was with his friend). And then suddenly Ariel went, "No la cannot be him! He's so ugly!" HAHA! Then jo started laughing like crazy and she couldn't control and she fell off the chair! It was HILARIOUS. Yeah and later she started laughing about the ugly thing again and she was hyperventilating and Grace was like, "Joelle breathe! She's going into labour!!! PUSH PUSH PUSH!!!" HAHAHAHA!
Later we got ice cream and went upstairs because they said we were too loud. and I was standing there eating my dearly beloved cookies and cream and He HAD to walk past. It's not like I still like him. But it's still weird when we both knew I did, and the fact that we were actually friends in _ _ _ _. And the fact that it didn't have to be this weird if I didn't feel that. and I spoilt everything. It's weird for both of us, I'm trying to look like I didn't see him, he's trying to look like he hasn't seen me, and looking forward. I look forward too, but it's stupid. Plain stupid. That I was so overrated at that time.

I blew up in class just now. Literally, I felt like my face was really burning. We just finished the FREAKING geog test, and it was stupid. The test was 15 minutes long (HAH! Long? Short la.), and we had to draw the process of freeze-thaw action in rocks. And explain the uses of rivers and formation of waterfalls. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IN 15 MINUTES, MAY I ASK?
That "Geeor-phy" teacher is such a sadist. First she said 10 minutes more, and later she suddenly said, "Okay girls! 1 more minute!"
Pissed. Later they HAD to give me the mep concert form, and I blew up. Jia Ying was shouting and saying it was compulsory, and I couldn't even give the excuse that I was going away. Earlier that day I think I pretty much screwed up my Bio test, and the Geog test was hard. And next week I've got huge Chinese, Chemistry and MEP test. The EOYEs are coming, and I was super tired. I slept at 12.30am last night, and I didn't even finish my revision. If I was alone in that classroom and there was no one in the corridors, I would have started crying right away. The stress was really bad. And I was so pissed off I think Caris and Dora have never seen me so angry. Like, almost shouting, my tone was really pissed and frustrated and I was like, "What kind of S*** is this?" Sorry. I was almost going to cry already, and it was NOT PMS. And sometimes school's really really lonely. And I was sitting at the back of the AVA, alone, and it felt stupid. Stupid that I was in school.
You know what? I HATE SCHOOL.

I can't wait for saturday. I hate school. I was actually happy about the fact that I got A1 for almost every subject, and they had to give the freaking timetable for our end of year exams.
I ACTUALLY GOT A1 FOR MEP! And Turkwa 3 and Turkwa 2 (Benn and me) got the highest for english! HAHAHA. I LOVE MY TURKWA SISTERS(:

Ultraviolet was really really good. And now, I regret not persuading Jade hard enough for her to come. Stupid, how you never thought how good things would be and later you regret not asking someone to share that. We met at Far East Plaza, and Abby, Jo, Dee and I took 10 minutes to find the guys when they were right in front of us. Then later we went to Scotts and had dinner, and Jo backed out on her beloved beef noodles because Nico was eating them. LOL. For some reason, I kept on screaming, maybe I was super hyper or something. Nah I don't think so. HAHAHA.
I managed to get some really million-dollar pics on the way to expo! Like, Ariel fighting with Chet, Jo smiling like crazy cuz she's next to Nico on the train, etc. When we got to expo Caris was like, "I WANNA SEE YOUR BOYFRIEND!!!" And Nico and I went to get tickets from her and later when we got them, we were walking to the hall and Benn went, "All the way Caris wanted to see who your boyfriend is." Right in front of him. I know I don't like him, but Benn that didn't exactly help you know.
Anyway the concert was really really good. We went to BK in Plaza Sing for supper and Jo wanted to ask Nico if he was related to Jon Leong and I asked it for her, and he said,"You're super lame la."
Yep it was fun, but FOP was more exciting. Haha. As in like the "fellowship" time.
I felt like an ass when I got home though. Like many things I did, shouting at certain people, just for the sake of shouting. Stupid right. LOL. But on saturday morning it was all okay again. Haha.
And I PONNED TRAINING!! I feel so proud of myself. xD

I was just at the dentist's and I got bandings and my teeth extracted. One tooth. While I was putting on the bandings they put this dryer in my mouth and I was sitting (or rather lying) there with my mouth wide open, and my tongue like a limp thing hanging in there.
And ironically now, I feel like a girl with an extra salivatory gland.
I KNOW, YUCK. And I think the gap's really obvious. To cut the whole thing short, I won't be laughing very loud in a while.

This week has been not bad so far. I don't have guitar on Thursday! Honestly guitar lessons are getting boring. Like, really really boring. And Mrs Arlene Chan called me at home and it was pretty freaky. I think whenever teachers call you at home, it's always freaky, whether you have a guilty conscience or not. HAH but I don't!
Last night I slept at 12.15, spending 45 minutes contemplating whether I should wear my OP skirt to school or just wear my uniform. I ended up wearing the uniform, what a waste of time.
I'M REALLY REALLY TIRED. I didn't even hear my mum waking me up this morning, and she claimed it was really loud. Sure, I'm tired but I'm tired and happy. For no reason. HAHA, but not for the same reasons as Joelle Yong.
I can't wait for friday. The Planetshakers are gonna be really good! And I bet Jo's really excited, cuz her FAVOURITE GANG'S gonna be there. Eduardo, Piglet, Chet... HAHA.

National day celebrations today.
Honestly, national day has never been one of my favourite holidays. People are all patriotic, and I'm definitely not a patriotic person. Not for S'pore, at least. And the forum was stupid cuz they were just trying to cover up for Singapore and the girl that brought up a point first about us being brainwashed into believing that the PAP is the best and no one can beat them was right. And Cara Neo's point was stupid I don't get why the people cheered. SHEESH, the PAP is arrogant and the retarded forum wasn't even held by them, just by MG girls trying to run for parliament in the future. And it's not like they don't increase the prices of everything after the elections when PAP wins.
Right, I'm sorry but I'm anti-PAP.
I have three years to fulfill Grandma Grace's death wish! Haha. She wants to have photos of all the people that have affected her life in her coffin, and before that she wants a sports car. We were joking that we should put Mr Quek's photo in the coffin.

District gathering was really, really good.
The things that Pastor Gary preached were really real to me. When I saw the video on this generation it just stirred up something in me that wouldn't die down. And talking about my friends getting saved, God just put that fire back in me again. Before he told us to stand up and go to the altars and kneel, I was already crying. When I knelt down at the altar, I just started crying uncontrollably.
And it had a really big impact on me, because it just showed me that God can touch you regardless of what's going on in your life. Regardless of whether you've been hurt this week, or not. You don't have to be hurt for God to touch you, you just have to have the passion. And reach out and press in. And Pastor Gary was right, when you finally learn to pray, the words just spill out.
And the three people I wrote on the paper, they're gonna get saved by the end of this year, 2006.

FOP WAS SO FUN!
I went on friday night with Benn and a few classmates but it wasn't so good the first night cuz you're new to the band and you don't really know the lyrics. Still it was good.
BUT SATURDAY WITH THE CHURCH PEOPLE WAS THE BEST!!
We went for service in church first, and it was good. I was serving, and I was the youngest one serving! LOL. Ariel had flag day so she wasn't serving. And you know what? At first when I joined CH, I kinda dreaded it every week. But now, I think I've learnt to enjoy it, and I really like it now! Sure, I miss the jumping every alternate week but I'm serving God with something else now.
After service, we were going to take a bus to lucky plaza, meet Nicodemus and then all go to the indoor stadium together. Instead, we flagged down a cab, and THE GUYS STOLE IT! RAWR ;D And in the end, we got a cab 5 minutes later, and we arrived at the same time! We were at the northern entrance and Mo's small so he was weaving through the crowd, cutting queue and we were just following him. and when we finally got in, we were 1 hour early. So we went out to 7/11 and got food.
Can you believe that the burgers and hot dogs are 5 bucks each??? I was telling Grace that the money better go to something good. LOL. Jo was having a nervous breakdown because Nico was coming. We were all gathered in a circle and then Eugene kept bugging me with, "What is IT?" and in the end I fell for the trick again! And he actually knew already. But I'm not going to say it here. When Bro Aloysius finally came there were not enough seats because the other people took our seats so Bro Aloysius and his whole group of guys and Nico had to sit somewhere else. So Jo got all pissy because they couldn't sit with us and had to sit somewhere else. And the first thing that Jo told us? "Nico's SO HOT!" The worship was really good! And Don Moen has a hot guitarist and a super pro bassist!! And just because I told them that I was falling asleep during the sermon on Friday, when we got the the sermon part Chet and Mo called me to say good night. LOL.
Before ED silvoso preached, he told us to look into the eyes of the person next to us, and say, "I love you and there's nothing you can do about it." And we were joking about how funny it would be if Nico was sitting next to Jo. And the guys were doing all crazy stuff. Eugene was saying that they would be holding hands, and Chet was saying that they'd be *KISSING* (LOL). After the sermon there was another session of worship and the guys moved down one row. So we were all jumping and then suddenly our rubberbands came off. Obviously Chet. And we were jumping again and Riel and I had our heads pressed down by Chet. And later he failed to do it cuz I continued to jump!
After the service we went to get supper and we didn't even know where we were going. Eugene and i were pairing the people, like most of the time it was Jo and Chet. And later Danny, Eugene, Rel and me were running off and finally we decided that we better wait for them, so we sat down on the road divider and waited for them and the cars kept passing us. EUGENE TEO'S RUNNING LOOKS REALLY WEIRD!!
Later Jo started to talk to Nico! LOL. So Riel and I went in front and Eugene and Danny came too, all with the same purpose: DON'T DISTURB THEIR TIME TOGETHER. Haha. Finally we reached this coffee shop and we were all getting drinks and I got water and I slammed the bottle down on the table and some came splashing out and onto Chet! HAHAHA. Soon people were leaving and so I was talking to Nico about the Sentosa thing. About Chet and Eugene tricking me and they started laughing. HEH.
And he's so blur la. His wallet dropped and he didn't even notice. I had to point it to him then he picked it up.
Haha. It was really fun going with the churchies. I mean Friday was fun BUT. BUT. BUT.
Well, not as fun. You want my honest opinion? I didn't really have fun on Friday. And Saturday was the best.

MY PIANO EXAM IS OVER!
I think I screwed up a bit, but heck. IT'S OVER!!! My examinor was this 55 year old guy, who was balding. But not as bad as Tharman.
When i got back to school, we had our photo taking and during the candid shot, we all had to huddle up together and I smelled something really really BAD. Smelt like toilet, which is EWWW. And I was standing with Tiffany, Jade and Esther and I know Esther and Jadey don't smell like that, so well...
During History we were doing contact and about how North Korea was starving and if one day they got satellite tv, they would have 400 over channels coming into their TVs. And then Mr Seow said, "They would get to watch MTV, and they'd get shows like PUNK MY RIDE, so on."
And we all started laughing cuz he mixed it up. PUNK'D +PIMP MY RIDE= PUNK MY RIDE!!! Hahaha. Hilarious. And he coloured his hair brown it looks like he's wearing a wig.
I'm getting braces, and so now I've to wear these separator things so that my teeth will separate and I can put bandings on my molars. I CAN'T BITE!!! I think all I'm getting into my system is whole chunks of food. EWW.
At least it's only for one week, but this is only the beginning.

We had our first day of swimming PE today, and I got partnered with Tiffany. i mean, it's not that bad but it was really weird when she had to be piggy backed on me.
Oh well. I had to run in the rain yesterday, and my 2.4km time trial timing was HORRIBLE. I think from the one in school, I deproved by 1 whole minute. Gahh. Anyway, during the recovery run, I really was in NO mood to run anymore, and I still had 10 more minutes to run. I was running with Grace, and I was like, "RAWR. I don't wanna run anymore." Thank God for Grace. She said, "If Jesus was there beside you would you still run?" (: So I carried on running. Even if I was going to be sick.
And I already am. Slightly. I've been sleeping really late, and I've got my piano exam tomorrow, and this morning I woke up earlier because I had to go for swim PE. The pool was freezing, and yesterday I ran in the rain. I've got a slight fever, and I'm feeling really tired. I STILL wanna sleep through this week. I just realised that it's called hibernating.
I'm starting to get the nerves about my exam tomorrow. What if I forget all the notes? I'll definitely fail.
The other day I was sitting in the car and It's time to sleep earlier!! Unfortunately my schedule won't allow me. In one day I already have 7 sets of homework. I don't feel like doing what I'm doing now, I wanna do something new for a change. I'm sick, literally and figuratively, and also sick of routines. Daily ones in the week especially. I want something new, and I wanna hibernate until I find that something. except that I'll wake up on my birthday, and nice holidays and Saturdays. that's all.
And I'm still suffering from World Cup withdrawal symptoms. I'm not eating recess and I'm starving.
THERE. The end of my rant. I STILL WANNA HIBERNATE.
